Physician · educator · founder
I’m Dr. Patrick Beeman—a dual board-certified OB/Gyn and addiction medicine physician creating more humane care, clearer medical education, and health media with a pulse.
Yes, AI helped build this website. No, it is not licensed to practice medicine in Ohio—or anywhere else, despite its confidence.
Father of six; Dual-board-certified; OB/Gyn + addiction medicine; U.S. Air Force veteran; Founder, InsideTheBoards; Chief Question Officer (a real title); AI power user; Philosophy MA (still asking why); Former logic professor; Music performance → philosophy → medicine; Podcast-network builder; Chief Email Officer (actual title); 2,000+ board questions written or edited; Medutainment practitioner; Pop-punk adjacent; bioethically grounded; AI-assisted, human-responsible; Serious credentials. Many side quests.
About a 90% accurate representation of the real Dr. Beeman. The other 10% is AI’s artistic license. The caption changes daily; the portrait changes only after I approve it.

Let’s collaborateClinical practice
Good medicine starts with listening. My clinical work centers on evidence-based care that respects the whole person—and the dignity every patient brings into the room.

Continuing care and records · Middleburg Heights
Veranova has sent its formal patient notice regarding Dr. Beeman’s departure. For ongoing care, records, refills, results, or appointments, contact Veranova using its official instructions.
Addiction treatment · Amherst
Medication-assisted treatment and recovery support in a welcoming, confidential, nonjudgmental setting.
If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call 911. This website—and its unusually enthusiastic autocomplete—does not provide medical advice or establish a physician–patient relationship.
Patient reviews · AI remix
The source reviews are real. The wording below is intentionally not verbatim. Every Monday, AI dresses a rotating set of patient feedback in a different literary outfit—without adding new clinical claims.
Seventeen syllables. Zero waiting-room magazines.
Unhurried listening Complex answers become clear Kindness leads the way

Source: Google via Birdeye · Public reviewTransparency note: These are creative AI paraphrases of public reviews selected for their positive feedback—not direct quotations or a complete review feed. The AI is a copy editor wearing a funny hat, not a clinician. Reviewer names are omitted, no reviewer relationship is implied, and individual experiences differ. Use each source link to read the review in its original context.

Recent creative work · the side-quest desk
The polished medical work has its own section. This is where home projects, family experiments, serious ideas, music-adjacent adventures, and videos that escaped the group chat get to live.
Latest-ish

This shelf checks all three channels and the featured playlist for new uploads, so the recent work stays recent without anyone remembering to update the website. A small miracle of modern plumbing. The plumbing is neither sentient nor licensed.
The writing drawer
Selected essays on medicine, conscience, autonomy, and the questions that refuse to behave like multiple choice.

Consulting & collaboration
I partner with healthcare organizations, educators, creators, and founders who want to communicate with more clarity, humanity, and imagination.
AI is welcome in the room. Human judgment still has the final cut, the malpractice insurance, and the opposable thumbs.
Send a general inquiryA little about me
I trained in obstetrics and gynecology through the Wright State University and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base combined program, then served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force. Today, my work moves between the clinic, the studio, and the classroom.
I founded InsideTheBoards and Ars Longa Media because complex medical ideas deserve more than dry delivery. The thread through all of it is simple: treat people like people.
Outside the neat columns of a CV: family, Catholic intellectual life, music, American history, architecture, and hands-on building. The route from music performance to philosophy to medicine makes more sense in retrospect; the number of concurrent projects does not.
Did I use AI to help make this website? Absolutely. I also use spellcheck, electricity, and people smarter than me. Responsibility for the final result remains stubbornly human.
